    Abstract:
An optical Doppler flow sensing technique is presented which is capable of micron-scale spatial resolution tomographic flow mapping in vivo. Optical coherence tomography was adapted for quantitative measurements of flow in scattering media by implementing algorithms for coherent signal acquisition and processing. The interferometric data is spectrally analyzed. A sequence of pulses were stored where each pulse has transform limited width of 200 fs. The recorded spectral domain holograms were read out for over 24 hours, indicating that the photorefractive hologram recorded with 460 nm wavelength is insensitive to the readout wavelength of 920 nm.
