   Abstract:
   Summary of implications of potential theory in electrocardiography, with particular attention to "inverse problem;" it is noted that potential measurements on human torso serve to determine only spherical harmonic multipole coefficients of heart sources; interpretation of these coefficients with respect to actual electrophysiological sources.
