   Abstract:
   The work of Lorente de Nó concerning volume conductor fields of bioelectric sources is extended to the derivation of a formula which depends upon in situ rather than excised (insulated) quantities. The derived formula appears to simplify to the form Φ(P) ≃ (¼);πσ∫↓s_c[J_n/r] dS for most cases where J_n is the normal current density flow across the surface S_o that bounds the bioelectric source.
