   Abstract:
   A system for acquiring digitally 180 simultaneous electrocardiographic surface potentials has been developed. Computer data processing yields up to 1000 equipotential contour maps per real-time second. Data is acquired from 180 active dry electrodes in an inflatable vest structure. The electronics include 12 amplification and sampling channels with associated digital control logic and a monitoring subsystem. Reproduced data channels are digitised synchronously by a PDP 11/45 A/D converter subsystem under external clock control
