   Abstract:
   Subwavelength detection of object displacement has been conducted using a polychromatic interferometric imaging system. It has been found that interferometrically detected polychromatic fields scattered by small objects formed of nondispersive materials contain sufficient information for imaging resolution superior to that of comparable monochromatic systems.
