Matthew S. Reynolds

Matt Reynolds received S.B., M.Eng., and Ph.D. degrees from MIT, and was a Motorola Fellow at the MIT Media Lab from 1997-2002. Matt co-founded the RFID systems firm ThingMagic Inc. in 2000 and served as Chief Technology Officer from 2002-2007. He returned to academia as a Senior Research Scientist at Georgia Tech prior to joining the Duke faculty as an Assistant Professor in January 2008.

Prof. Reynolds' research interests include RFID and its applications to robotics and human-computer interaction, ultra-low power sensing and computation, parasitic power, and smart materials, surfaces, and spaces.
