   Abstract:
   A two-and-a-half dimensional multidomain pseudospectral time-domain algorithm to model electromagnetic scattering by lossy inhomogeneous objects as well as perfect conductors was made. As such, a 2.5-D well-posed perfectly matched layer (PML) was used to absorb outgoing waves at the truncated boundary of an unbounded medium in the algorithm. As a result, the numerical results show an excellent agreement with an-alytical solutions.
