   Abstract:
   A spectral hybrid extended Born approximation (SHEBA) method combining the extended Born approximation (EBA) and the conjugate-gradient fast Fourier transform (CG-FFT) is proposed as a solution of integral equations. The hybrid method is in principle applicable to all problems with a homogeneous background, but particularly efficient for problems with a higher contrast.
