   Abstract:
   The pseudospectral time-domain (PSTD) algorithm is extended to model the electromagnetic scattering from both 2-D and 3-D objects. The plane-wave excitation and the time-domain near-far feld transforms in the stretched coordinates are efficiently incorporated into the scattered-field PSTD algorithm. Numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm in wave-scattering problems. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
