A novel edge-defined film-fed growth technique (EFG) has been used to prepare doped LiF single crystals. The high-temperature thermoluminescent glow peaks of these crystals are found to be greater than those of the TLD-100 powder used as starting material. The thermal resolution of all the glow peaks of single-crystalline specimens is also greater than that of the powderKeywords:
