    Abstract:
Euler based reduced order unsteady aerodynamic models are used to construct very efficient reduced order aeroelastic analyses for a two dimensional `typical section' isolated airfoil. The reduced order aeroelastic models are shown to compute accurately the airfoil's time response much more efficiently than the conventional CFD based model. Eigenvalues of the reduced order aeroelastic system are also used to predict the airfoil's aeroelastic stability independently and confirm the results of the time response simulations.
