Synthesis procedure for a class of control systems having more than one nonlinear characteristic is discussed. An existing frequency-domain absolute stability criterion has been used to determine the values of dynamic controller parameters. A frequency-domain, rather than time-domain synthesis approach has been used. The method ensures asymptotic stability in the large for the controlled system. The results, obtained via the digital computer, are presented in parameter plane and parameter space. Analog computer simulation results, generated for specific nonlinear characteristics, provide a basis of comparison with analytical results.
