    Reports the results of a numerical investigation of natural convection in liquid metals contained within a horizontal cylindrical annulus. The bounding cylinders are each at constant, but different, temperature. The flow is assumed two-dimensional and steady. The Boussinesq approximation is used to account for the temperature dependence of the density. The problem is formulated in terms of a stream function and a temperature function
