    Abstract:
Tetrahedral and octahedral building blocks were devised for the construction of a large variety of crystal structures. Since these blocks can be stacked without special fasteners, they can be rearranged conveniently in order to demonstrate underlying relationships between various crystal forms. Their use in portraying a number of different structures is discussed.
