    This paper focuses on the effect of different temperature levels on the chloride penetration through a saturated CEM I cementitious materials. The temperatures studied were 5, 21 and 35°C. In addition to experiments, a model based on the multi-ionic diffusion is proposed. It is highlighted that the temperature level has no impact on the chloride binding during immersion tests in NaCl solution, for the marine environment concentrations. The chloride diffusivity increases with the temperature on the basis of the Arrhenius relation. Finally, experimental results are in good agreement with the numerical profiles. © EDP Sciences.
