   Abstract = {We have made a measurement of very-low-energy e+e- pair
production from p collisions at 18 GeV/c. Using the SLAC 1-m
bubble chamber to study a sample of 178×103 interactions,
we find a signal of centrally produced direct e+e- pairs
which accounts for (4813)% of all e+e- pairs detected with
             |x|<0.02 and PT<10 MeV/c. This measurement agrees with a
calculation of e+e- pair production from the internal
conversion of hadronic bremsstrahlung. © 1981 The American

Abstract = {We have studied inclusive photon production from +p
interactions at 10.5 GeV/c and found a source of centrally
produced direct photons which accounts for (469)% of all
photons detected with PL* and PT between 0 and 20 MeV/c. The
experimental data are found to be in good agreement with a
calculation of hadronic inner bremsstrahlung. © 1979 The

Abstract = {Using the algebra of currents, modified Weinberg sum rules,
and the tadpole model of Coleman, Glashow, and Schnitzer, we
calculate the kaon electromagnetic mass difference in the
soft-kaon limit to be -3.9±0.6 MeV, in excellent agreement

Abstract = {It is proposed that members of a recently observed scalar
octet with particle masses around 1 GeV could play the role
of tadpoles. If the anomalous branching ratio of 2πK̄K of
the isosinglet member of the octet is accounted for by SU3
             violation, the resulting octet-dominance-violating
contribution to the mass formula very much improves the
Gell-Mann-Okubo mass relations for pseudoscalar mesons. ©

Abstract = {Using the algebra of currents, we show that the
electromagnetic pion mass-difference diverges in the
soft-pion limit, if the usual spectral sum rules are

Abstract = {A model for the process π++p→++K+ is proposed, consisting
of hyperon- and K*-exchange diagrams as well as the p32
resonance, and a resonance of 1940 MeV, assumed to be f72.
The resulting four-parameter fit is compared with the
