Laronda J. Blessing
Senior Data Tech
Laronda Blessing is a senior data technician at the Center for Child and Family Policy. She joined CCFP in February 2019 as a senior research aide for the Efficacy of the DCCS Program: ESL and Classroom Teachers Working Together with Students and Families study. She previously worked in Durham Public Schools coordinating an after school enrichment program as well as school pantry programs. She is also a board member of the Bull City Community Schools Initiative and has been involved in the community school pilot project at Club Blvd Elementary. Prior to working in elementary schools, Blessing taught English as a Second Language to adults in Minnesota and Iowa.
Blessing received a BA in Political Science from University of Minnesota and a Master of Public Policy from Duke University, where her master's project examined gaps in parent support services in Durham County.
