    Abstract:
    The trialkynylarsine oxide (Me3CC≡C)3AsO reacts with 2 equiv of [trans -Pt(H)(PEt3)2(THF)] [SbF6], and subsequently with pyridine, to give a spirocyclic arsenic compound in which the arsenic atom participates in two four-membered rings. One ring is an arsacyclo-butene that bears an alkylidene substituent at the 2-position. © 1991, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
