Tori Lee,

Tori Lee

Pronouns: she/her

Tori is a fifth-year Ph.D. student in Classical Studies. Her research interests are in Latin poetry, reception, translation, and feminist studies; her disciplinary interests more generally are in public scholarship and social justice within the field of Classics. She is currently working on a dissertation that recasts the idealized landscape of pastoral poetry as violent and dystopian. Tori has a B.A. in Classics and Comparative Literature from Brown University and an M.A. in Classics from Washington University in St. Louis. She is the former Assistant Editor of Eidolon, an online journal focused on Classics in the modern world, and the current Assistant Editor of the SCS Blog. In addition, she volunteers with CripAntiquity and represents the South region for the SCS Classics Graduate Caucus.
