Overview:

Purnima ShahRecipient of the Richard K. Lublin Distinguished Teaching Award for 2012-13. Scholarship focuses on Asian Dance-theatre; ritual performance; Gender in Performance; postcolonial implications on traditional dance and theatre performance; role-playing and expressive elements in Indian dance-theatre, and Indian dance in the diaspora.
