Biographical Info of Craufurd D. Goodwin

Craufurd D. W. Goodwin is a James B. Duke professor of economics at Duke University. He has been a teacher and administrator at Duke since 1962, and has taught both graduate and undergraduate students on courses covering the history of economic thought and policy, macroeconomics, and microeconomics. In past years, he has also been a visiting professor at Cambridge University and the Australian National University. He was also named a Smuts Fellow and a Guggenheim Fellow.

Professor Goodwin has served as vice provost for research and dean of the graduate school, program officer in charge of European and International Affairs at The Ford Foundation, and secretary of the university. He is past president and distinguished fellow of the History of Economics Society.
