Professor Fang joined the Duke faculty in 2007 after spending seven years on the faculty at Yale. He received his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. His research has covered a broad range of topics in applied microeconomics with a focus on public economics. His research topics include discrimination, social economics, welfare reform, psychology and economics, public good provision mechanisms, auctions and health insurance markets.
