Dissertation Title:

Benjamin Crais is a PhD candidate in the Graduate Program in Literature. He is finishing a dissertation on narratives of deindustrialization in the long 1970s. Additionally, he is at work at a project on "the agrarian question" in 20th century political cinema, an excerpt of which will appear in a forthcoming issue of Discourse: Journal for Theoretical Studies in Media and Culture.

With Veronica Davis and Carson Welch, he is the editor of the next issue of Polygraph: An International Journal of Culture and Politics  titled "Narrative and Crisis."
