Luna Beller-Tadiar is a PhD student in the Graduate Program in Literature at Duke University. She aims to take the moving body as a site of cultural-ontological and epistemic negotiation, and is interested in semiotic processes, kinesthetic-digital culture, and queer and decolonial communal practices. She holds a BA in Literature from Yale University, for which she wrote a thesis on experimental contemporary comics and emergent visual-verbal grammars of popular digital communication (such as memes, emojis, .gifs).
