I got my BA from Carleton College in Philosophy and Cognitive Science, and my PhD from the University of Michigan in Philosophy and Psychology. I have research interests on various topics in moral psychology, cognitive science, and epistemology, with a special interest in questions about how social relationships shape moral cognition, the ethics of belief, and the kinds of control we have over our mental states.
