Research interests: Seventeenth-, Eighteenth- and Nineteenth-Century French Literature, Eighteenth-Century Feminism in France, Motherhood and Female Mentoring, Women’s Writing, Feminist Theory. Teaching interests: Early modern French Literature, The Enlightenment, Romanticism, Sub-Saharan Francophone writing and theories of Francophone literature, Teaching writing, Instructional uses of technology, Feminist theory, Research methodologies. Preliminary Examination Fields: High Classicism of the Seventeenth Century, Representations of the Feminine in the Novel (18th–19th centuries).
