My research focuses on how social class inequalities are experienced and reproduced through everyday interactions. My book documents how the class individuals grow up in shapes their sensibilities and their marriages. My other work focuses on class in educational settings, specifically how preschoolers' interactions with each other can produce class inequality and how students from different class backgrounds transition from college to work.
