Research Interests: Hodge theory & Algebraic Geometry

I study the geometry and arithemtic of algebraic varieties using Hodge theory (i.e. harmonic forms and their generalizations).  I'm currently working on the following projects:

• Algebraic cycles and normal functions (joint with P. Brosnan);
• Monopoles and degenerations of mixed Hodge structure;
• Limits of mixed Hodge structures and modular forms (joint with R. Hain and A. Jafari);
