   Abstract:
   Dimol emission 2O2(1Δg) → 2O2(3Σg-) + hν633nm has been observed from neodymium glass laser pumped oxygen in the gas phase and in 1,1,2-trichlorotrifluoroethane solution. The emission lifetime is dependent on quenching by ground state oxygen, and the quenching rate constants determined in this work are consistent with literature values. © 1974.
