Aerojet assembled, developed, and tested depleted uranium munitions (DU) at the Aerojet Chino Hills Facility from the early 1970's until mid 1995, under a State of California radioactive materials license. Aerojet is decontaminating and decommissioning (D&D) the facility for unrestricted use. It is anticipated the final site conditions will relate to potential radiation doses of about 0.01 mSv/year, which is well below existing and proposed regulatory requirementsKeywords:
