    Abstract:
    An external cavity geometry for an individually addressable laser diode array is reported, where in each element in the array it lases at a unique wavelength. Geometrical construction of the cavity is flexible and allows individual from different material systems to be tuned together. Applications to WDM systems, spectroscopy and optical memories are indicated.
