Abstract:
This contribution deals with the application of the general purpose simulation language ACSL in the numerical analysis of rotordynamic systems. Software requirements resulting from the specific needs of rotordynamic models in use are discussed and some results obtained by simulation with ACSL are presented. Finally desirable future improvements from the user's and dynamicist's point of view are addressed to software developers
