   Abstract:
   The author discusses the paper by Lai and Kulacki (ibid., vol.34, p.1189-94, 1991) which confirms the scale analysis predictions of an earlier paper by Bejan and Khair (ibid., vol.28, p.909-18, 1985) and extends the range of similarity solutions. Lai and Kulacki state that solutions in the range of N less than -1 are impossible, which would indicate that some of Bejan and Khair's results are fictitious. Bejan disagrees and draws attention to the section of the earlier paper which deals with the physical nature of systems with negative and large values of N
