Collaboration with Dr. Daniel Schmitt of Duke University and the North Carolina Zoological Park investigating the biomechanics of gorilla and chimpanzee knuckle-walking locomotion.




Geometry and loading of the leg and foot in anthropoid primates, 2007-present

Collaboration with Drs. Damiano Marchi and Daniel Schmitt of Duke University and Dr. Roshna Wunderlich of James Madison University investigating the biomechanics of the hindlimb during locomotion in hominoids and some cercopithecoids

Research Experience, 2001

Collaborative research project in South Africa with Drs Susan Pfeiffer, Judy Sealy and representatives of the Khoisan Indigenous Peoples. Research included the analysis of indigenous southern African skeletal remains from a variety of Later Stone Age sites.

  Palaeontological excavation of late Miocene locality and Dryopithecus fossil remains with Drs. David Begun of the University of Toronto and Laszlo Kordos of the Geological Museum of Hungary.

  Palaeontological excavation of new middle Miocene locality of Felsõtárkány with Dr. David Begun (University of Toronto) and in collaboration with Drs. Laszlo Kordos (Geological Museum of Hungary) and János Hír (Pásztó Municipal Museum, Pásztó, Hungary).
