| Paol Keineg obtained his PhD at Brown in 1981. He has taught at Dartmouth and Brown, as well as visited at Berkeley and Harvard. Poet and playwright, he has published eleven books, including Lieux communs (Gallimard) and Silva rerum (Maurice Nadeau). His main interests are the literature of Québec and French Canada, national and linguistic minorities, nationalism and regionalism, and translation. Education:
