Arts & Sciences comprises some 2,600 faculty, staff, and nonfaculty researchers who provide outstanding education and professional training for undergraduate and graduate students.
Of the 620 faculty members in 2007, 30 percent are women and 19 percent are ethnic or racial minorities.
Arts & Sciences staff carry out the important mission of supporting faculty and nonfaculty researchers as they discover, create, and disseminate new knowledge.
