Technology Services

The Office of Technology Services is responsible for implementing and supporting technology for the faculty, staff, and students of Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. The technology services provided help support the academic mission of the college and Duke University.

IT services in Trinity College of Arts & Sciences are provided by various groups of IT professionals:

  • Office of Technology Services staff in a central organization supporting academic departments, classrooms and administrative units. This staff also provides additional enhanced services distributed departmental IT staff
  • Distributed departmental IT staff that provide support within each department
  • Duke's Office of Information Technology and various campus IT units in collaboration with Technology Services and distributed IT staff

The Office of Technology Services may also provide technology support services for units outside of the Trinity College of Arts & Sciences organization. These services are provided based on service level agreements and associated fee structures.

Trinity Technology Services provides local support to connect faculty and staff to a variety of Duke IT services, many of which are listed on the Duke IT Services website. Other services are managed locally to meet the specialized needs of Trinity College of Arts & Sciences.
