    Abstract:
Within the logic of our present behavior-orienting telos of "development" and "economic growth," any "strategy" designed to secure the material basis of Black Africa as a viable, unified and geopolitically nonvulnerable, multiethnic, multicreedal in Kenya, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, multiracial, civilization must paradoxically move conceptually beyond our present hegemonic conception of economic agencies, as the primary agencies, to those of culture-systemic ones. -Sylvia Wynter, "Is 'Development' a Purely Empirical Concept or Also Teleological?"
