An instructor of Arabic language at Asian and Middle Easter Studies, Duke university. His specific field is language teaching. Previously, after getting his bachelor degree of language arts and education, he has worked as a teaching assistant at Ain Shams University, Egypt for eight years . After obtaining his Ph. D in education, he was appointed as an assistant professor of Education in Ain Shams University. He has been working in teaching language programs in different national and international institutions including Education Development Fund, American university in Cairo, French University in Cairo, Canadian International College, and Ahram Canadian University. Also, he has been working in training language teachers in Egypt both academically and professionally.  In 2014, he travelled to Canada to visit UPEI via the exchange agreement between Ain shams University and UPEI. During this visit, Badr has participated in several programs, did a joint project and a comparative study about teachers’ preparation program in Egypt and UPEI. In 2015, he was selected to participate in foreign language teaching assistantship in the US sponsored by Fulbright. He has spent one academic year teaching Arabic at Duke University as well as studying several programs in education.
