Abstract: Academic practice partnerships are crucial for advancing nursing education and practice, especially considering recent challenges with the nursing workforce. Here, we discuss the adoption and implementation of an academic practice partnership. Then, we share a major, successful initiative of the academic practice partnership to promote healthy work environments for nurses and nursing students, ensuring their quality work and safety. We implemented a simulation-based training program to teach nurses the necessary skills for a healthy and safe work environment and developed a training manual to share our project with others.
