Clinton is a sixth-year PhD student in Classical Studies. His interests lie in Greek literature, more specifically in Greek tragedy, especially the ancient reception of the tragedians. He is also interested in ancient scholarship and the transmission of Greek texts. He has a BA in Classics and Classical Civilization from Colby College and an MA from the University of Chicago. After receiving his MA, Clinton taught Latin to middle and high school students at the Estancia Valley Classical Academy in Moriarty, New Mexico for three years before coming to Duke.
