Lauren Hoaglund is a doctoral student in English literature, working primarily on early modern literature, religion, theater, and poetry. She has most recently focused on early modern women's writings with particular attention to Calvinist and Reformation theologies.

Lauren received her BA in Medieval and Renaissance Studies and English with a minor in Classics from W&L University and an MAR in Religion and Literature from Yale Divinity School and the Institute of Sacred Music.
