Lacie Eades, Musicology

Lacie Eades

Lacie Eades is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in musicology. Her recent research has focused on musical cosmopolitanism and the patronage and reception of Giovanni Rovetta’s music in seventeenth-century Europe. She also conducts research in mid-century rock music. Lacie holds a Master of Music in Musicology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, a Master of Education in Teaching and Technology from William Woods University, and a Bachelor of Music Education with an emphasis in piano and voice from Southeast Missouri State University. Prior to pursuing graduate studies in musicology, she taught choir and general music in the Missouri public school system for over a decade.
