Emily is a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at Duke University. Her dissertation examines the concept of human dignity in early Chinese thought. Her research lies at the intersection of moral philosophy, Chinese philosophy, and comparative philosophy. She also has secondary interests in political philosophy and the philosophy of economics.
