    Abstract:
    We describe how to optimize slow-light via stimulated Brillouin scattering in a room temperature optical fiber that is pumped with a spectrally broadened laser. Our recent experimental results on broadband SBS slow-light will be discussed. © 2006 Optical Society of America.
