Francesca Magario,

Francesca Magario

She is a PhD Candidate in the department of Romance Studies pursuing a comparative studies track (Italian and Spanish). Her research interests include, but are not limited to, literary Modernism in Southern European countries, Fascism and colonial Italy, cinema, and metafiction. Her dissertation is a transnational study of metafictional trends emerging during the first three decades of the twentieth century in Italy, Spain, and Portugal, highlighting their relevance within analogous historical and socio-political happenings.
