Current projects: Dissertation: "Johann Rudolph Glauber: Experience and Authority of a Seventeenth-Century German Artisan Adept."

History of science, particularly seventeenth-century German alchemy. Experience, authority, honor, deceit; emotions; masculinity and femininity; the body; cognition; rhetoric.
