Abstract: An in vivo model of small diameter vascular grafts is developed to quantitatively described the effects of graft treatments on downstream tissue. The model shows that heparin treated grafts and endothelialized grafts performed better than the untreated ePTFE used in distal limb revascularization. Furthermore, the heparinized grafts significantly improves the oxygenation and blood flow in downstream tissue.
