   Abstract:
   A new MALDI-based technique, stability of unpurified proteins by rates of H/D exchange (SUPREX), for quantitative determination of protein-peptide binding constants was discussed. For the study the five different type of peptide sequence were used, which includes peptide #1, peptide #2, peptide #3, peptide #4 and peptide #5. The results show that phosphate may have a larger stabilizing effect on ligands with high K d values (weak binders) than on ligands with low K d values (strong binders). It was suggested that the S-protein binds to a number of peptide ligands.
