    Abstract:
The inertial subrange structure of turbulence, were investigated by using high frequency longitudinal velocity measurements. The local and global intermittency buildup in the inertial subrange were investigated over a wide range of atmospheric stability conditions. The nondecimated wavelet transforms (NDWT) and critically sampled orthonormal wavelet transformations (OWT) were used to derive the global scaling exponents and other statistical properties.
